This Sunday, 6/2, Rev. Debra Haffner and Rev. Joel Miller will lead worship, and then depart the building while the congregation convenes in a special meeting to vote on whether or not to call them as our next settled ministers. This meeting will take place in the Sanctuary immediately after the service. After the vote is taken and the meeting is adjourned, we will proceed to the Parish Hall for coffee, cake, and (assuming a successful call) celebration.
We hope that as many FUUSN members as possible will be able to join us in person for the service and special meeting. While these events will be hybrid, and FUUSN members attending remotely will be able to vote by Zoom, attending in person will allow people to vote by simple paper ballot and also come together in community for what we hope will be a very special moment for our congregation. Plus, cake!
