Demie Stathoplos has been a FUUSN member since 2012. She has been on the Board of Trustees since 2018, and was chair during FY2022 and 2023. She has been an RE teacher, Coming of Age Mentor, and member of the choir at various times in the past. She was a member of the Multicultural Ministry (now Racial Justice Ministry), has been a facilitator for the Pledge to End Racism, and founded the FUUSN Climate Action Task force. She lives with her husband Dan and adult son Alex, and is retired from her work as a clinical social worker and integrative health practitioner. When she isn’t spending time with FUUSN friends, she is a volunteer climate activist and enjoys boogie boarding in Maine with her extended family.
