Ask Me (Almost) Anything – ZOOM ONLY

February 18 @ 10:15 am - 11:30 am

Curiosity fuels our growth in mind and spirit. This Sunday, join us on Zoom to explore the joy of questions: in this case, questions for your interim minister. If you’ve had something you’ve been dying to ask but haven’t found the right moment, send it ahead of time to parisa@fuusn.org. We’ll also take questions during the service via the Zoom chat.

Postponed until May 12, 2024:

A Black man with rounded glasses and a serious expression, wearing a collared shirt and jacket

Due to the closure of all FUUSN buildings for necessary repairs, we have rescheduled guest preacher, Rev. Kevin Peterson. Rev. Peterson is a founder and director of the New Democracy Coalition which focuses on the issues of civic literacy, civic policy and electoral justice. He is a democracy activist who realizes the connection between addressing racial division as a precondition toward strengthening our democracy on the local and national level. He is an organizer, writer and public speaker.  He enjoys talking to youth about civic engagement. He delights in his children, Nigel, Marcus and Farrell, and the regular consumption of the delicacies transmitted by his parents, including sweet potato pie, and oxtail soup. The Newport Jazz Festival, West Africa and the Smithsonian National Museum of Black History and Culture in Washington D.C.
