During the month of November, the following will be on display at Coffee Hour:
1) Allen School exhibit: Museum-quality panels currently on display in the Parish Hall present fascinating information about the Allen School. The school’s history is directly related to an important FUUSN 19th century member, Nathaniel T. Allen.
The exhibit, on temporary loan to FUUSN for the month of November, was created by Historic Newton in connection with the new film An Uncommon Education: The Allen School.
2) Minister of the Month: A new panel summarizing the life of Rev. Arthur Buckminster Fuller will be on display, and a “Trading Card” will be available to take home. He was chosen for the month of November due to his veteran status. During the Civil War he was chaplain to the Union Army, and he died in battle. He served FUUSN in 1847-1848.
